Mary "Pam" Pederson, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on August 5, 2025, at the age of 84.
Born on July 20, 1941, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Pam lived a full and vibrant life marked by hard work, laughter, and deep connections with those she loved. She spent over 30 years working for Ezra Teshome at State Farm, where she was admired for her dedication and warmth.
Pam was an avid bowler and cherished the camaraderie of league nights. She was also known for her enduring friendships, many of which began in childhood and lasted a lifetime. Her competitive spirit shone through in her love for scratch tickets--she was always sure the "big win" was just around the corner. At home, she found joy in caring for her house plants, which thrived under her tender touch.
Family was at the center of Pam's life. She was the proud mother of two children, Lynn Roark and Melissa Pederson, and the adoring grandmother of five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition she was a surrogate Mother and "Gram" to many of her children and grandchildrens' friends.
She is also survived by her siblings, Peter and Cinder, who shared in her laughter, stories, and memories across the years.
Pam will be remembered for her quick wit, her generosity, and the way she always found joy in life's simple pleasures. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and the reminder to savor every small victory--whether it was a strike at the bowling alley, a new blossom on her plants, or the hope of a lucky scratch ticket.
She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
