Robert "Bob" Doney

Robert ?Bob? Doney, 59, Ashwaubenon, died peacefully Sunday, October 10, 2004 at a local hospital surrounded by his family. He was born June 2, 1945 in Green Bay to Elizabeth ?Betty? (Cormier) Doney and the late Albert Doney. Bob served in the Marine Corps in Vietnam from 1965 to 1967. He was a self employed carpenter his entire life. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR racing, and the outdoors. Survivors include two daughters, Shanan (Brian) Bayerl and their children, Danielle and Makenzie; Tricia Doney and her son, Justin; Shanan and Tricia's mother, Kathy Doney; two brothers, Tom Doney and Peter (Pam) Doney; two sisters, Betty (Don) Herber and Sue Smith; and seven nieces and nephews, Jeff Herber, Candy Herber, Allison Fronsee, April Doney, Holly Smith, Jennifer Doney, and Denise Curtis. He was preceded in death by his father, and brothers-in-laws, Ken Smith and Jeff Hermes. Friends may call Thursday, from 4 ? 7 PM at Lyndahl Funeral Home, Lombardi Avenue at Ridge Road, Green Bay with the funeral service at 7 PM with the Rev. Jim Hablewitz officiating. Burial in Ft. Howard Memorial Park. The family would like to extend a sincere thank-you to Dr. Rai; St Vincent's staff of the 6th floor ICU, especially Jen, Wendy, Peg, Marge and Sister Monica; as well as the crew of Eagle III. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
