Wilfred "Bill" Fleurant

Wilfred ?Bill? H. Fleurant, 80, Green Bay, died Thursday, September 29, 2005, at a local nursing home. He was born January 1, 1925 in Marinette, Wisconsin, to the late Wilfred and Rose (Brabant) Fleurant. Wilfred served his country in the U. S. Army during World War II from 1945 to 1947. On August 21, 1948, he married Loretta Balthazor in Marinette at St. Joseph Church. He was employed by the Wisconsin Public Service for 26 years.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta; his children and their spouses, Linda and Blair Peterson, Hobart; Dennis and Heidi Fleurant, Wausau; Rene and Roger Van Kilsdonk, Appleton; and Valerie and Richard Wiener, De Pere; three grandchildren, Blaine Peterson, William Fleurant and Spencer Wiener; two great-grandchildren, Miranda and Bryce Peterson; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Elaine La Combe.
Friends may call after 4:00 P.M. Monday, October 3, at Lyndahl Funeral Home where the funeral service will take place at 6:00 P.M. with Deacon Bob Nooker officiating, with full military honors to follow. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Wilfred's name.
