James H. Tyndall, 89, Green Bay, died Friday, November 26, 2004. He was born December 29, 1914, in Ashland, WI, to the late Edward and Rose (Manis) Tyndall. On January 13, 1940, he married Florence B. Johnson; she preceded him in death on March 24, 1998. He sailed the Great Lakes for many years after high school and had been a pipe fitter for Green Bay Packaging for 25 years, retiring in 1977. He later helped in his retirement years maintaining George Kress's boat, the Aria, until 1997. He enjoyed fishing and watching football games. Jim was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church for 50 years. Survivors include two sons, James D. (Maryann) Tyndall, Egg Harbor; Jeffrey (Cheryl) Tyndall, Green Bay; three grandchildren, Allison (Don) Briand, Lancaster, PA; Stephanie Tyndall, Tampa, FL; James Tyndall and fianc?e Laura Miller, Green Bay; four step-grandchildren; one sister, Lois Summers, Nebraska; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Edward, Robert, and Donald; six sisters, Mildred, Margaret, Isabel, Norma, Ruth, and Beverly. Friends may call at Lyndahl Funeral Home, Lombardi Ave. at Ridge Rd., 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30th. Visitation will continue after 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Calvary Lutheran Church, 1301 S. Ridge Rd where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Earl Vorpagel III officiating. Entombment will take place at The Shrine of The Good Shepherd Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Calvary Lutheran's name. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Cardinal Ridge Residential Care for all their care given.
