Verna E. Anderson, 86, of Green Bay, died peacefully at home Friday, October 15, 2004. She was born June 30, 1918, in Forest Junction, to the late Harry Jr. and Ella (Weggen) Stanelle. The former Verna Esther Stanelle married Harry Anderson on April 5, 1941 in Forest Junction. He preceded her in death on May 26,1989. She was a very active member at First Presbyterian Church for many years. Verna will always be remembered for her kindness and generosity to others. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie (Thomas) Westerman, Fond du Lac; one son and daughter-in-law, David (Diane) Anderson, Green Bay; six grandchildren, Ed, Brian, and Rick (Patti) Westerman; Renee (Hugh) Kelly; Jonathan, and Benjamin Anderson; one brother, Harry (Ruth) Stanelle Jr, Fond du lac; two sisters, Anita Dusowsky, Watertown, WI; and Letty (Bill) Weidman, IL; nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one daughter, Cheryl Peters; four brothers, Arno, Hugo, Bert, and Donald; five sisters, Norma, Lenora, Selma, Erma, and Hilda. Friends may call at Lyndahl Funeral Home, Lombardi Ave. at Ridge Rd., 4 p.m until 7 p.m. Monday, October 18th. Visitation will continue after 10 a.m. Tuesday, at the First Presbyterian Church, 200 S. Ashland Ave., where funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Stephen A. Shive officiating. Burial will take place at Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
