Frances ?Franny? Bukoske Lemerond, 80, Green Bay, died Saturday, April 1, 2006 at a local hospital. She was born on Nov. 28, 1925 to the late Theodore and Virginia (Neuens) Everard. In 1946, she married Henry Bukoske; he preceded her in death on June 30, 1978. On Aug. 8, 1981, she married Ervin Lemerond who preceded her in death on Nov. 19, 1984. Franny was employed by John Nero's Restaurant for many years, retiring in 1974. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Oneida, and the Duck Creek VFW Post 7534 Auxiliary.
Survivors include four children and their spouses: Henry and Connie Bukoske, Carol and Paul Sutrick, Darlene and Mark Bruening and Sam and Jodi Bukoske, all of Green Bay; nine grandchildren: Aaron, Adam, Janelle, Holly, Paul, Jr., Candy, Edgar, Shannon and Branden; nine great grandchildren: Billy, Ryan, Lexi, Alex, Amanda, Jade, Katlyn, Austyn and Brooklyn; three borthers and sisters-in-law: Gerald and Germaine Everard, Sobieski, Ted and Sally Everard, Pittsfield, and Richard and Jenny Everard, Seymour; three sisters and three brothers-in-law: Vivian and Leland Hansen, Oneida, LaVerne and Donald Hansen, Oneida, Jo Anne Elbe, Seymour, and Harold Sobiek.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by two daughters: Linda and Lorraine; one son, William; two sisters: Rosie Nikodem and Elaine Sobiek; two brothers-in-law: Ron Elbe and Mike Nikodem; and a special friend, Wes La Fave.
Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at Lyndahl Funeral Home where a VFW Auxiliary Service will take place at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will continue after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Oneida, where a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. David Koch and Cinde Becker, Parish Director, officiating. Interment in the parish cemetery to follow.
The family would like to offer their gratitude to Frances' brother-in-law and his family, Mel and Yvonne Lemerond and Robin Lemerond as well as the physicians and entire staff of third floor ICU at St. Mary's Hospital for the wonderful care that was given to Franny.
