Sandra L. Dettloff, 53, Ashwaubenon, died Monday, October 23, 2006 at home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 8, 1953, to the late Eugene and Merna (Larson) Anton in Milwaukee. On October 29, 1973, she married David Dettloff in Milwaukee. Sandra had been employed in childcare for many years. She was a member of the Lucky Penny Homemakers and always enjoyed their outings and projects. She also enjoyed cooking and baking. Spending time with her grandchildren was very special to her.
Survivors include her husband, David; two children, Nichole (Timm) Leisgang, Ashwaubenon and Chad Dettloff, Minnesota; three grandchildren, Madeline, Noah and Jonah; one sister, Corrine Anton, Superior; one brother and sister-in-law, Myron (Nancy) Anton, Milwaukee, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, October 26, at Lyndahl Funeral Home. Visitation will continue after 10:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home where the funeral service will take place at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. David Johnson officiating. Burial will be at the Earl Cemetery, Town of Springbrook, Washburn County. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Sandra's name to be given to cancer research.
The family would like to thank the 4th floor staff at Bellin Hospital and the staffs at Unity Hospice and Green Bay Oncology especially Dr. Anthony Jaslowski for all of their care and concern.
