Richard A. Valk, 51, Green Bay, died Thursday, June 28, 2007. He was born September 8, 1955, to Bernard and Iris (Mielke) Valk in Green Bay. He served his country in the United States Air Force. On July 28, 1990, he married Eleanor Perron. Richard enjoyed bowling, golfing, painting, listening to fifties music, dancing and socializing with family, friends and neighbors. He was an avid Packer and Badger fan.
Survivors include his wife, Eleanor; his parents, Bernard and Iris Valk, Green Bay; two brothers, Roger Valk, Green Bay and Robert (Lorrin) Valk, Oshkosh; his aunt, Mary Burris, South Carolina; his uncle, August (Marie) Mielke, Kimberly; a niece, Tina (Mike) Sullivan; other relatives and friends and his faithful dog companion, Venus.
He was preceded in death by a brother, James and a sister, Janice.
Friends may call after 9:00 P.M. Monday, July 2, at St. Agnes Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Richard Getchel officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lyndahl.com.
