Bernard J. Kramer, 91, Ashwaubenon, died Wednesday, July 18, 2007, at a local nursing home. He was born December 7, 1915, to the late Paul and Josephine (Matuzeski) Kramer in Lena, Wisconsin. On June 29, 1940, he married Maybelle Courtion at Sacred Heart Church in Spruce, Wisconsin; she preceded him in death June 21, 1996. Bernard was the owner of Kramer Refrigeration in Lena from 1955 to 1985. He was a devoted family man with strong faith and a very good work ethic. He was an avid fisherman and loved to spend quality time fishing in his boat ?Bernie's Special?.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie (Jerry) Nickols and Deborah (Robert) Wilson, all of Green Bay; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert ((Patricia) Kramer, Green Bay and Terry (Sue) Kramer, Montana; 10 grandchildren, Lisa (Lee) Rentmeester; Lori (Randy) Tremble; Michael J. Nickols; Kimberly (Scott) Wagner; Kristin (Keith) VanDen Heuvel; Kraig (Billie) Kramer; Lindsay (Todd) Arquette; and Forrest, Kevin and Hannah Kramer; 20 great-grandchildren, Landen, Lacey, Logan and Lucas Rentmeester; Jennifer, Mackenzie, and Mallory Tremble; Michael A. Nickols; Austin Wilson; Aidan and Delaney Arquette; Kathryn, Michael, Elizabeth and Daniel Wagner; Lauren, Natalie and Christine VanDen Heuvel; and Kennedy and Matthew Kramer; brothers and sisters, Martha Bintz; Theresa Severa; Margaret Wesling; Manny Kobes; Charity (Chuck) Kroeger; Delores Brown; Audrey Piper; Dolores Hansen; Norma Kramer; Irene Demmith; and Dorothy Courtion; and his special friends, Sy and Vicky Ullsperger, Amy, Pat and the gang at Skip's.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, James; a grandchild, Stephanie Wilson; his brothers, Richard, Anthony and Charles Kramer; and his sisters, Irene Redding, Kay McGowan and Mary Sinacola.
Friends may call after 9:30 A.M. Saturday, July 21, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2771 Oakwood Drive, where the Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 A.M. with Msgr.
