In loving memory of

Kendy DeBauche Lemmen
October 18, 2011

Kendy DeBauche Lemmen, 46, Ashwaubenon, died unexpectedly Tuesday, December 18, 2007. She was born June 7, 1961 to Roger and Beverly (Whiting) DeBauche in Green Bay. She was a 1979 graduate of Southwest High School. Kendy spent most of her life working at Cub Foods and most recently at Festival Foods. She served many people in so many roles and touched so many lives through her career; she was truly a mentor to whomever she worked with.
As a child growing up, Kendy's dream was always to be a mother and have a family. Kendy had two boys, Nathan and Mathew. Her boys brought joy and meaning to her life. They were her life. Kendy and her mother took the children on several adventures to Mexico for relaxation and exploration. Kendy and her sister Deborah and their children also had a tradition of going to Great America each summer to scream with delight on every roller coaster ride they could get on before the lights went out.
She delighted in the simple things in life - taking care of her home, shopping for her family, going out for lunch with friends and family and going for walks with her dog, Noah.
On November 5, 2006, Kendy was filled with love at the birth of her grandson, Quinten. From that moment forward, she could not get enough hugs, kisses and snuggles from him.
Kendy was filled with happiness and joy every day. Most recently, she started a new chapter in her life which was full of family, faith and friends. Little did we know that Kendy's new chapter would be with her Lord and Savior.
Kendy will be missed dearly by her close family, friends and her best friend, her mother.
Survivors include her two sons, Nathan (Jessie) Lemmen, Green Bay and Mathew at home; one grandson, Quinten; her parents, Roger and Beverly DeBauche, Little Suamico; two brothers and two sisters, Deborah and Paul Yancy, Kiel, and their children, Dana, Hannah and Cara; David (fiance, Michele Cherney) DeBauche, Green Bay, and children, Jordan and Lydia; Roger Michael and Ann DeBauche, Oconto Falls, and their children, Ryan, Dylan, Gino and Danielle; and Kim DeBauche (special friend, Mark Mancheski), Allouez, and her children, Drew, Austin and Kendra.
Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, December 21, at Lyndahl Funeral Home. Visitation will continue after 1:30 P.M. Saturday at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2270 South Oneida Street, where the Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 2:30 P.M. with the Rev. John Becker officiating. Entombment will be at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lyndahl.com.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.

"I met Kendy and her friend at the Nazareth / Jay Fergeson concert at the Brown County Arena in around 1979 or 80. It was love at first sight. She and her friend gave my friend and I a ride back to Menominee, Michigan. We all had such a good time that we rode back to Green Bay. We didn't know what to do then. So they said, well you guys can sleep at this school, and maybe we'll see you in the morning. Then, a truck backed up to the loading dock my friend and I were sleeping on in our sleeping bags. Kendy said to come over in the morning. So, then we went to the Debauche residence and Mrs. Debauche let us come in to take a nap. It was very nice of her. Later they gave us a ride to U.S. 41 and we hitchhiked home. I was a fool to not keep in touch then but I tried later and could never find the house when I went to Greenbay for events. She and her friend had come up north to visit once but Iwas out of town. Later in 2005 or so I moved to Porterfield Wisconsin. I had attempted to contact Kendy but was unsuccessful. I had heard on the news that a Kendy Lemmon was killed by her husband. I didn't want to believe that it was her. I am so sorry to hear this tragic news. I am saddened by the fact that a woman so beautiful and generous could be gone this way. I give my sincere condolences. I am a Christian now and pray the Lord heal your hearts and you all get "Born Again" John 3:3 John R. Kanerva"
