Cindy (Wriedt) Szinegh, 51, Las Vegas, formerly of Green Bay, died Saturday, September 20, 2008 after a battle with cancer. She was born September 26, 1956 in Green Bay to Delores and the late William Wriedt. She married Alex Szinegh on March 16, 2003. She had been in the Cadet Civil Air Patrol and in1972 was the first woman to fly solo and receive her wing patch for the State of Wisconsin. In 1973 she received her wing patch for her solo flight in Colorado. She had been employed as a realtor for Century 21 in Canada and had worked with Exit Real Estate Company in Las Vegas and Canada. She especially enjoyed spending time with her daughter, Chantel. Cindy also enjoyed spending time at her home in Las Vegas and Costa Rica. She is survived by her husband, Alex, daughter, Chantal Alexis, Las Vegas; her mother, Delores and brother Kevin of Green Bay; aunts, uncles, other relatives, friends and her three dogs, Nica, Alie and Guido. Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, September 26, 2008 at Lyndahl Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place at 12:30 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home. Entombment will take place at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made out to the American Cancer Society.
