Dale Livingston

Dale Roger Livingston, 63, Ashwaubenon, died Monday, January 5, 2009, at a local hospital. He was born on March 12, 1945, in Pontiac, MI to Laurence Eldon Livingston and Mildred Isabelle Livingston, both of whom preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth, who he married June 14, 1969 in Canfield, OH; two sons: Dale Robert (Jenny) and Christopher Scott; four granddaughters: Kaitlyn, Lindsey, Grace and Alexandra. He is further survived by one brother: Larry James (Karen) of Altadena, CA; a brother-in-law: George Diggles (Rosemary) of Plymouth, MN; a sister-in-law: Mary Baltzell (Mike) of Tiffin, OH; and many nieces and nephews.
Dale retired from the Freedom School District in June, 2007, where he had taught and coached golf. He also sold insurance for over 20 years. After graduating from Western Michigan University in 1968, he played for the Cincinnati Bengals and the Green Bay Packers. He was recently named to the WMU Athletic Hall of Fame.
Dale was an avid outdoorsman and golfer. He gave generously of his time and talents to area athletic teams, Cub Scouts, Little League and sang in the Nativity Adult Choir. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.
Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, 2009, at Lyndahl Funeral Home, where a parish wake service will take place at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2270 S. Oneida St., where a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
