Harold "Huns" H. Schultz, 92, De Pere, died Thursday, October 8, 2009 at a local nursing home. He was born March 27, 1917 to the late William and Leona (Tews) Schultz in Spencer, Wisconsin. He served his country in the U. S. Air Force in the South Pacific. On June 5, 1948, he married Virginia Roland in Gladstone, Michigan. Harold was the owner of Schultz Monument Co., retiring in 1981.
Together he and Virginia enjoyed golfing, traveling, especially to the casinos, horse racing tracks, their time shares in Florida and most out-of-town Packer games.
Harold was a member of Washington Lodge #21, Free & Accepted Masons, the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Masons, Valley of Green Bay, the Green Bay Shrine Club, the Russell Leicht Chapter #3 Disabled American Veterans, Green Bay Rotary, Benevolent Order of Elks of Green Bay and a charter member of the Beja Shrine Temple.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia; one sister, Dorothy Koch, De Pere; three nieces, Nancy (Ed) DeBoth, Green Bay; Kathleen (Joseph) Lundy, Kimberly, Idaho; and Patricia (Brian) Evers, Dallas, Texas, and one sister- in-law, Alice Andre.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy and, Melvin, an infant brother and a niece, Carol Reno.
Friends may call after 4 pm Monday, October 12 at Lyndahl Funeral Home where a Masonic Service will take place at 5 pm. Burial will be at Fort Howard Memorial Park.
