Thomas Solboe

Thomas R. Solboe, 54, De Pere, died May 7, 2010. He was born on August 29, 1955 in Green Bay to Richard and the late Audrey (Olsen) Solboe.

On May 23, 1981, he married the former Maxine Dzekute at St. Bernard’s Church in Green Bay.

He was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in De Pere.

Thomas is survived by his wife Maxine; one son: Craig of De Pere; one daughter: Kim of De Pere; his father: Richard Solboe of Green Bay; two brothers: James (Mary) Solboe of Sobieski and William (Robin) Solboe of Minneapolis; one sister Julie (Jack) Gregg of Green Bay. Further survived by his mother-in-law Joan Dzekute, and three brothers-in-law: Brian (Julie), Scott (Amy) and Terry Dzekute, and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother and one brother, Robert.

Thomas’ family was very special to him and he cherished spending time with his wife and two children. Tom liked the outdoors, going to his family cottage in Crivitz, bowling, and the Green Bay Packers.

Friends may call after 3:00 p.m. on Monday, May 10, 2010 at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church (1700 Lost Dauphin Rd. De Pere) until time of funeral services at 6:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Thomas’ name.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Wyndemere Care Center, Heartland Hospice, and Curative for the care and concern shown to Tom.
