Grace Baldwin

Grace G. Baldwin, 78, Green Bay, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2011. She was born on March 10, 1933 in Kaukauna, Wisconsin to the late Frank and Grace (Esler) Femal. On June 12, 1976 Grace married William Baldwin at St. Joseph's Church in Appleton.

Grace enjoyed knitting slippers, fishing, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her delicious chili. She was a devoted Catholic and served communion.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bill of Green Bay; six daughters, Cheryl Brandt and friend, Dan Leffel of Stratford, Wis., Vicki (Dan) Thomas of Oshkosh, Susan (Gary) Hoerth of McAllen, TX, Janet (Rick) Pulec of De Pere, Carol (Ken) Vandermissen of Menominee, MI and Ann (John) Devroy of Suamico; 13 grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Amie Norris, Laverne Femal and Ethel Femal; two brothers-in-law, Clayton McCabe and Robert Geenen. Grace is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

Preceding her in death were her first husband, Victor Grosskopf; her daughter, Cathy Grosskopf; brothers, Phelan, Clifford and Harry Femal; sisters, Kathleen McCabe, Mary Ellen Hoh, Helen McCabe and Sally Geenen.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Lyndahl Funeral Home from 4 pm until the Vigil Service at 7 pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday, June 23 at Nativitiy of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2270 S. Oneida Street, from 10:30 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Appleton.

A memorial fund has been established.

A special thank you to the staff of Heartland Hospice, Woodside Lutheran Home, especially Chaplain Steve, and the many friends and relatives for their prayers for Grace and her family.
