"Hi mom, I hope you can hear me, I need help and guidence. I feel the family is being pulled/ controlled by one. I believe this not what you wanted. I know we all have some sort of issues but my understanding is that we are all your's and dads children, but one is doing her best to exclude some or all of us. Help in anyway to give dad the strength and wisdom to know how this is being played. I miss you alot and wish I could talk to you, so much is happening around me and I need the help and blessing that only god can help, so if your sitting by his side, please ask for a helping hand. Thanks mom. Love you forever."
"mom we put you to rest yesterday. I was able to touch dona, hope she is also with you and help to welcome you. miss you very much."
"mom I sure wanted to talk to you today, somethings good and some just needed to vent, Do you have a phone number.
Love and miss you."
"From someone who has known both your Mom And Dad before you were even a twinkle in their eyes. You Mom was a memorable lady and we will always remember her fondly. May she rest in peace. And feel free to call on us if there is anything we can assist you with. "
"my favorite memory was when i was five and had started a dolls hair on fire, putting it out in the toilet, she was so mad, I was in for it for sure. Me being so little I ran in and out of the table in the kitchen all the while her crawling on her knees to try and catch me, me laughing at her the whole time, looked pretty funny; don't remember the outcome but sure was fun. "
"This is strange but the longest lasting memory I have of Betty was when my dad bought a previously used police car. There were no door handles or window cranks in the back. Betty and I worked together to put purchased ones in. There was a song playing, "Lay Lady Lay" by Bob Dylan. We laughed because at the time it really was a nasty song. I will miss her greatly for her advice, memories and for being herself."
"For those of you who really didn't know her, as you can guess, she was a special lady! I was a lucky kid to have her as a mom, because she LOVED to sew! And she made me some of the most amazingly beautiful dresses a girl could ask for! She loved to bake, and cook, and paint ceramics. She did cross stitch, and knitted. She was also a mechanic, and a carpenter. She enjoyed the outdoors as well. She loved to fish, and take long back road drives. She was a history and mystery buff. She was my tv partner. She and I would sit there for hours watching tv, and not say a word! She loved Harleys, and old cars, but most of all,... She loved her family. I can hear her say : Ahh fuck! to all this sappiness! But in a nutshell, she was my mom!"
"TO MY AUNTIE BETTY, U WILL BE GREATLY MISSED BY ALL, I DIDN'T KNOW U MUCH, BUT I DO LOVE U VERY MUCH,GOD BLESS U ,MAY GOD BE WITH U ,N MAY U BE AT PEACE,--SLEEP WITH THE ANGELS AUNTIE BETTY,LOVE CASSYCHRISTIE(KOEPSEL)XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO"
"My grandma was the strongest woman I know. She was the kind of grandma every grandchild should have, strict when needed, but very very loving and caring. She would tell you how it was no matter who you were, if she had an opinion, you heard it. I have lots of good memories of my grandma, but what I will miss most is sitting in her living room with her, watching the news and just talking about what we were seeing for hours. Grandma, Im always going to miss and love you."
"First let me start by saying how sorry I am for your loss of a wonderful woman. I've known Mama Koepsel since I was 7 years old, which is how long Carol and I have been friends. She will be missed dearly. My most memorable memory I have of her is when she would give Papa Koepsel a hard time with just about everything. She would tell it like it is whether you wanted to hear it or not. She was a very strong willed woman and I will miss her so much. Rest in peace Mom. I will do my best to look after your girls. I love you!!"
"Anyone who knew me as a kid knows about how much I loved Christmas music. I would play it at any time of the year. It drove my mom nuts! (But that's my job!) When Jeff and I left the hospital after when she passed, the first song to play was Little Drummer Boy, with Bing Crosby and David Bowie. It is on my "spiritual" cd's. Just like when I pulled into Holy Hill, 2 weeks ago, the song "O Happy Day" came on. I truely believe someone or something has been with me since that day to help prepare me for what was coming. "
"I am going to miss her very much. Who is going to listen when I have to tattle on someone and vent when they make me crazy. I will miss the look she gave you when a question is asked and she knew the answer that look of "ha bet you didn't think your ole mom knew that". I'm going to miss her dancing around by herself. I love you!!"
"Mom, Jeff and I went to Holy Hill today, and lite a candle for you. We love you dearly, and pray that you will be at peace up there and continue to give us grief down here! "
"And his reply to Mom telling him where to go was, "And which one of your brooms should I use?!""
"When Betty would tell Jeffrey where to go, and how to get there!"
"I will miss the long phone calls, she always was there for you, you'd talk her ear off just venting or just because,. her favorite thing to say to you was 'genious' lol"
