"I remember the time that Nikki and I became very close in high school. She was in one of my classes and sat behind me. She had made 3 or 4 sarcastic comments that I thought were HILARIOUS. I knew right then she was one of those people you wanted to be around. Under all the humor and fun that defined Nikki, she was also the sweetest person. There was no limit to what she would do for a friend. I can remember numerous times she helped me through hard times that most friends might turn and walk away. I remember her being selfless and always willing to help. Just a very genuine loving friend. I can't believe she is gone. For the past few days, I just picture her face... and she's always smiling. She had a wonderful sense of humor, we were always laughing in class. She was so beautiful and full of life. As I remember the days from High School she will always be in my memories.
