"Hello. I was just mortified when I heard of Mona's story on HBO's Plastic Disasters. I just found out (2018) that Mona passed away in 2009. My sincere condolences go out to the Alley family. Plastic surgery has become a dangerous option to resolve health issues. It's too bad Mona didn't find out more about her health issues and pursue safer options. I noticed during the documentary that Mona drank diet coke. I know from personal experience that aspartame (in diet coke) makes people gain weight. When I stopped drinking diet coke I started losing weight. I wish Mona had known about this dangerous chemical sweetener. Again, I am so sorry for your loss. Rose - Wiser in Ontario, Canada"
