Edward "Ed" C. Kwasny, 76, Seymour, died unexpectedly in Lakewood, Wisconsin, on Friday, November 18, 2011, doing what he loved, getting ready for deer hunting. He was born on January 12, 1935 to the late Joseph and Verna (Bellow) Kwasny in Stiles, Wisconsin. Ed grew up in the Oneida area. In 1968, he married Diane Robinson. He did construction/remodeling in Las Vegas for seven years. He came back to Wisconsin and developed his own construction company, E & D Construction. He constructed pole buildings and all steel commercial buildings until 1987. At that time, he became an insurance agent and got his Security license and worked in those fields until his retirement. Ed loved to hunt and fish and special times spent with his family and friends.
Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Diane of Seymour; his children, Deborah (Larry) Pongratz, Green Bay; Dawn Kwasny and her special friend, Cindy Switalski, Fond du Lac; and David Kwasny, Freedom; five grandchildren, Jennifer and Jessica Pongratz and Lahkeesha, Arion and Maya Kwasny; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Margaret Robinson; two sisters, Marie Figlinski and Mary Best; one brother, Harry Kwasny; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Kwasny; two brothers, Jackie and Jimmy Kwasny; a brother-in-law, Robert Figlinski and a nephew, Brian Kwasny.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Lyndahl Funeral Home from 2 pm until the memorial service at 4 pm with Deacon Everett Doxtator officiating.
A memorial fund has been established in Ed's name.
