Marie Linn Richards
June 22, 1918 - January 21, 2012

Funeral services for Marie Linn Richards, 93, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Tipton who died Saturday, Saturday, January 21, 2012 will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton, with the Rev. Lloyd Brockmeyer officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 23, 2012 from 4-6 pm at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton, with Easter Star Services at 4:00 PM. Burial will be in the Tipton Masonic Cemetery in Tipton. A memorial has been established in her memory.

Marie was born June 22, 1918 the daughter of Paul K. and Mildred May Linn Richards, in Tipton, Iowa. She was a graduate of Tipton High School and Tipton Junior College. Marie was employed as Deputy Clerk of United States Bankruptcy Court for 35 years. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Cedar Rapids, and Malta Chapter Cedar Rapids #415 OES.

She is survived by her cousin, Betty Linn of Tipton, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents.
