Tributes

Tristen Lancon wrote on Feb 25, 2019:

"I have to say that she'll truly be missed. She was so bright and happy, and impacted so many people's hearts for being her. I remember how happy she was, and she was always ready to take on the world no matter what happened. I remember the day she died more than any part of my life, and I'll never forget how horrified and devastated I was when I learned that she died once my father came back from the hospital in tears. I cried for hours and hours at night, knowing that I could have died instead if I accepted that last ride she took. I've been devastated from her death for so long, but I need to accept that these things happen, and move on with my life. She wouldn't want her death to bring me down. She'd be so happy with me for who I am today, and she would love more than anything to help me through my pain. She's with God now, and I'm sure she's watching over everyone with the same positivity she always had. I thank you all, every one of you, for making her life so happy, and I thank all of you for saying such kind things for her. She'd shed a tear reading this. I love her, and yes, I'll miss her, but I need to keep going."

"we are so sorry for your loss. We didn't think about your loved one being 29 years. It didn't seem possible and it is heartbreaking to think of your whole family's extreme loss. I'm always at a loss as to what to say. It's a minute at a time letting our Heavenly Father walk With you every step of the way. Having lost ours at the age of 20 a lot of years ago now among others, there's still times it's unreal. They always stay close to you in thought. We extend to you our sincere sypathies, thoughts, and prayers. Jennifer J., Bettie and Dwain"
