Thomas Sinkler
December 16, 1944 - March 7, 2012

Thomas A. Sinkler, "Tom Cat", of Antigo, died Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Aspirus Hospice House in Wausau. He was 67 years old. He was born on December 16, 1944 in Antigo, a son of Leonard and Catherine (Maciora) Sinkler. He married Sharon Rueger on April 22, 1967 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Antigo. She survives.

As a young man he worked for George Bula farms, then Riverview Farms for Leon Baginski and most recently for Ted Baginski and Sons farms retiring in 2007.

He had been a member of the Antigo Jaycees and volunteered for the Rural Fire Control as a firefighter.

He enjoyed bowling, attending the Hodag music fest and time spent with family and friends.

Survivors including his wife are two daughters Pam (Gary) Powell, Antigo, Jill (Allan) Paff, Antigo; two sons Steven Sinkler, Fayetteville, North Carolina, Jeffrey (Tanya) Sinkler, Antigo; six grandchildren Jessica, Julie and Coltin Powell, Evan and AAdan Paff, Andrew Sinkler; a great-grandchild Rori Hipke; three sisters Sophie Dawidowich, Two Rivers, Angeline (Charles) Bula, Antigo, Mary (Paul) Kowalski, Antigo; a brother Joseph (Charlotte) Sinkler, Antigo.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Agnes Sinkler.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday at noon at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home and Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
