Elizabeth "Betty" (Walk) Lukowicz, of Antigo, died Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Care Partners under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. She was 89 years old. She was born on February 25, 1923 in Antigo a daughter of Tony and Gertrude (Nelson) Walk. She married Thomas Lukowicz Sr. on June 20, 1944 at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church in Antigo. He Survives.
She was a graduate of Antigo High School and was employed at Weinbrenner Shoe Factory and at Amron and Vulcan Manufacturing Company in secretarial positions.
She enjoyed knitting and sewing.
In addition to her husband survivors include two sons, Thomas Lukowicz Jr. and wife Mary Ann, Antigo, Robert Lukowicz and wife Theresa, Texas; granddaughters Shelly Ann Myers and husband Steven, Corinth, Texas, Sarah Petroskey and husband John, Antigo; two sisters, Jane Donahue, Antigo and Carol Eider and husband Bob, Madison; brother Harry Walk and wife Evelyn, Antigo.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Georgia Tesch.
No services will be held at this time. A memorial service will be held on a future date.
