Nora Barbara McCullough
MILFORD, Connecticut -- Nora Barbara McCullough, 93, of Milford, passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2012, at the Golden Hill Health Care Center.
Burial will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at St. Mary's Cemetery, Milford, Connecticut. The Smith and Sefcik Funeral Home of Milford, Connecticut, is in charge of the arrangements.
Nora was born in Derby to the late Victoria Kapusta and moved to Milford in 1950.
Before retiring, she was employed by Burndy's.
In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting and the Milford Senior Center.
She is survived by her devoted daughters, Margaret Emma McCullough and husband, Gary, of Muscatine, Iowa, and Jean Barbara Ganter and husband, John, of Redding; five grandchildren, Jason Ganter and wife, Ann Marie, of Milford, Connecticut, Jeremy Ganter of Brooklyn, New York, Jamie Ganter Peterson and husband, Steven, of Bridgewater, Connecticut, Jessica Fiedler Hubbard of Muscatine, Iowa, and Robert Fiedler of Davenport, Iowa; four great-grandchildren, Madison and Cameron of Milford, Connecticut, and Aidia and Euan Peterson of Bridgewater, Connecticut; two sisters, Genevieve Dziekan of Branford, Connecticut, and Salome Spak of Derby, Connecticut; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Stanley E. McCullough; and daughter, Lucy Ann Button.
