"On behalf of the Altrusa gals of Red Oak, Iowa, we want to offer our heartfelt condolences. Marjorie was truly a blessing in our lives while she was an Altrusa member. On a personal level, I also, want to share with you what a "treat" it was to know your mom. She was a friend of my mom, Minnie Bea, and I had several occasions to spend time with her. She has left many wonderful memories to carry you through. "

Elizabeth wrote on Nov 17, 2009:

"Dear Janice, Marlene, Sam, and Nyle, I will be with you in spirit tomorrow as you celebrate your mother's remarkable life. She was respected and admired as a mother, friend and her community service. It was a joy to see her enjoy her 100th birthday party. I know you will treasure your special memories with her. Sincere sympathy, Elizabeth"

Winfield Mayne wrote on Nov 17, 2009:

"I hope we all are blessed with as long and worthy a life as you were blessed. I kept in touch off and on with Sam after our U of I years and you must have been very proud of your family and their accomplishments--none of us could ask or wish for more-life is worthwhile if you can look back on your own life and say "job well done"--you most certainly could do that. My condolences to all the Killingers. Win Mayne"
