"Don and Doris took a bunch of Cheryl's friends to eat pizza in Omaha, when I was a kid. That was the first pizza I ever had, and I remember to this day what a great time that was. I can remember Don with a big smile and as someone who was always fun to be around. The world will be a lesser place without Don Crisler, but I for one am a better person for having known him. "

"Doris and family.. You have our deepest sympathy with your loss of Don. He was a wonderful and gentle man. We always looked forward to seeing him at ALL of the dances. His smile and twinkle in his eye will be missed by all. His dancing shoes have traveled many miles, they too can now rest in peace. Dean and Cindy Fornoff"

"My heart goes out to all of you during these difficult times but as I sit here remembering all the fun times spent with Donnie, Doris and the Crisler family over the years - I smile through the tears. I especially remember Donnie saying on many a Saturday night: "Good popcorn, Maddie". Donnie was a man with a big heart and strong family values and, oh, so very proud of each and every one in his family. Keep those fond memories close to your heart. You are all in my thoughts and prayers in the days to come ..."
