Mary Jane Potts, one of eight (two boys and six girls) children of Mary Wilamena (Heer) and Rev. Jacob Warren Taenzler, was born on April 30, 1945 in Omaha, Nebraska.
Mary married Herman Leory Potts and their marriage was blessed with two sons, Jeremy and Herman, Jr.
Mary passed away on January 8, 2012 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa at the age of 66 years, 8 months, and 8 days.
Mary is survived by her husband Herman Potts of Glenwood; sons, Jeremy Potts also of Glenwood, and Herman Potts, Jr of Iowa Falls, IA; four grandchildren; other relatives; and friends.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
Hertz Funeral Home of Glenwood assisted the family with arrangements.
