"I first met BJ at the Page Care Facility in Clarinda where I started working. We became friends and shared some fun times. One of those times was in Shenandoah at a Shen Fest Activity at the Armory where she walks up to me and asked these questions: Hi Debbie how are you? Where are you kids and how are they? and the best question was "Who is this?" pointing at a Guard Member and I said, oh Erm he's my Husband; she looked at me with a smirk and said "No sir that's not Kevin, he's over there" and pointed to where my Husband was standing. We both started laughing and we hugged and talked some more before she left. She was a very special person. Love ya BJ. My prayers are with all of you."

"I use to take care of BJ for years when she lived at Page Care Facility in Clarinda. I use to do alot with her, crafts, shopping, bus rides, and vacation trips and exercising. One time I remember we were working out to Richard Simmons "Sweating to the Oldies" It was our third week of work outs and they always have an ending of showing the weight that they have lost. Bj said,"Hey, they've lost more weight then they did the last time we saw them!" (same tape) So funny, we all laughed alot about it every time we exercised.BJ you will be missed. I get out my pictures every once in awhile and remember when...I loved my residents and my job at page care facility. BJ made my job fun and challenging. Love ya BJ and Eddie. Thinking of the family with love and prayer. Lepha Fidler"
