Teresa Lynn Kirkpatrick
August 17, 1955 - June 29, 2012

Mrs. Teresa Lynn Kirkpatrick, 56 of Burlington died at 2:35 a.m. Friday, June 29, 2012, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.
Born August 17, 1955 in Burlington, she was the daughter of Charles Stewart Sr. and Roseanne Peterson Freyling. On July 28, 1990 she married Mark Kirkpatrick at Peace Lutheran Church in Prairie Grove, IA.
Mrs. Kirkpatrick was a manager and teller for Postal Credit Union in Ottumwa. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, bowling, shopping and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Mark Kirkpatrick of Burlington; two daughters, Tara (Jeff) Kleinman of Cedar Rapids and Trisha (Trent) Meyer of Oskaloosa; three sons, Michael Leffler of Des Moines, and Jarrod Freyling and Tyler Kirkpatrick both of Burlington; seven grandchildren; one brother, Charles (Glena) Freyling Jr. of Burlington and her step-mother, Leona Freyling of Burlington. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Mark.
The funeral service for Mrs. Kirkpatrick will be 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 3rd, in Lunning Chapel. Pastor Dale Visser will officiate. Inurnment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. A gathering will be held at the Moose Lodge following the service.
A memorial has been established.
According to Mrs. Kirkpatrick's wishes, cremation will be accorded following the funeral service.
