The Lowe Family in NYC/VA/AL/FL wrote on Sep 4, 2012:

"Thoughts we share with Doris & Family about 'Deliverance' and all those, now joined by our cousin Raymond, that have gone ahead to pave the way for the rest of us... While we don't know why He does what He does when He does it, we see God's light in this family of ours every day, and though we may not understand it, it is because we trust in His plan for us all that we walk by faith and not by sight, and since this is the foundation of our knowing that we will always be delivered, we are always comfortably prepared to go to the cliff's edge and take the leap of faith, trusting that one of two things will happen: we will learn to fly and be delivered into another day in this life, or He will catch us and deliver us into a new day of the next, another, a new, life. And so, for those who have taken that leap of faith and been delivered into a new life, all that is left for us, the living, to do, is honor them and take care of the life and times they spent in this life, by redirecting some, if not all, of the dedication of ourselves to the cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion, and in so doing, they live on, in us, and in ours, in all ways, and for always, and forever... It is with this attitude and in this spirit that we borrow from the Irish to say to you, Doris and Family, and Ray too: May the road always rise up and meet you, May the wind always be at your back, May the sun always shine warm upon your face, May the rains always fall soft upon your fields, and until we meet again, May God continue to hold you and yours in the palm of His hand... We ask that God comfort us. Be near, Lord , be near. May my brother and our uncle rest in the strong and loving arms of the One who loves him most. Lord, You know our grief, so You know our pain. Please comfort us, in Jesus' name. " Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints"" We thank God you are safe in his arms. Sleep my little brother, sleep on!"

"A Prayer for the Family: Dearest Jesus, we acknowledge you as the creator of all things, the beginning and the end. Help us to walk through this experience with grace and ease, You taught us that they who mourn, shall be comforted, and you promise that those who lean on you and call upon you would find peace. Unto you dear God we surrender this grief. Fill us with peace, comfort, acceptance, strength, and courage to face each new day. Send us your Holy Spirit to guide us and help us . The Lord has given the Lord has taken away. Blessed be his Holy name. Amen. "
