In loving memory of

Tana Marie Ozuna
January 7, 1982 - October 15, 2012

Deerfield- Tana Marie Ozuna, age 30, went to join her Father in Heaven on Monday, October 15 2012 following a long struggle with Juvenile Diabetes. She was born in Madison, on January 7, 1982 the daughter of Elias and Sandra (Rivera) Ozuna. Tana graduated from Deerfield High School, class of 2000. Her great sense of humor that created her beautiful smile and laughter was spread along to anyone that was so blessed to know her. Tana's creative ideas and projects were always keeping her busy along with her dreams of winning the Lottery one day and fulfilling her first wish, "to just leave everything behind and take everyone she loved on a destination cruise." She loved the ocean, beautiful sunsets and collecting anything having to do with butterflies, peacock feathers and seashells. Tana was always daydreaming as to what her dream house would look like, the patents and inventions she was going to create or even how beautiful she would have her wedding one day. Every gift she gave had so much thought, time and love put into it because she knew everyone so well, even better than we know ourselves. Tana had to have anything sparkly, glittery or just simply beautiful even if she had no immediate use for it, just because it was "too pretty to leave behind." She loved the time making lifelong memories with her family and friends. But most of all Tana cherished every moment spent with the love of her life, her son at heart, Elizeo D.Lopez. Not only was she kind and caring, she always put everyone's best interest before hers. Tana took care of her family and friends in a way that no one else could. She was and still is our rock that holds us all together and we know she is still taking care of us all from the clouds of Heaven. We will miss her every day and will carry her in our hearts forever. We love you Tana. She is survived by her mother Sandra Rivera Ozuna; sisters Nelda, Delilah, Crystal, Rosa, Cheyanne, and Reyna; Brothers Lucas and David; Nephews Antonio, Alejandro, Oscar, Benicio, Elizeo, and Eliano; Nieces Melina and Halana. Survived also by her Maternal Grandfather Naum Rivera, Paternal Grandfather Damian Ozuna and many beloved Aunts, Uncles and Cousins and lifelong friends. Tana was preceded in death by her father Elias Ozuna; grandmothers, Maria Luisa Rivera and Juanita Ozuna; Uncles, Antonio and Baldemar Ozuna; Aunt Maria Magdalena Medelez and great friends, Matt, Kyle and Jeremy. A Celebration of Tana's life will be held at 5:00 PM on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Cress Funeral Home in Deerfield. Visitation will take place from noon until the time of services Sunday. To honor Tana's wishes she will be laid to rest with her father in Weslaco, Texas. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Tana's name for the Tana M. Ozuna Memorial Fund at Bank of Deerfield, Deerfield WI. The Ozuna family would like to make a special Thank You to Tana's many beloved friends and family for their continuous love and support.

"I will miss your beautiful face Tana. We were never super close but Delilah is like a sister to me. I remember when we were teenagers and she would always take forever to get ready and 'borrow' your clothes. I always loved your style and probablylol would have borrowed some clothes too, if they fit. I remember a couple of times you catching us in your room LOL! I've always admired you Tana. Your style, your positive attitudeand especially your strength. I hope you are at peace now. Please look out for everyone, especially Zeo :) We'll meet again someday, save me a place in heaven "

"Such sadness in my heart to hear of Tana's passing. I regret not knowing her as she grew into a beautiful young woman. I only remember her as a sweet and busy little girl. God bless you, Sandra and family. My prayer is that you have many sweet memories to comfort you."

"Precious Tana, sweet girl - I have many memories of you when you were in the Charter School - sassy, stubborn but so very sweet! We spent so much time together and I really got to know you as a young teenage girl-so much creative talent and so very smart-I remember us laughing together a lot! You were such a dedicated friend to so very many and so very thoughtful to those you loved! A sweet memory I have of you was taking you home for lunch & meeting my grandmother - she ADORED you & was so very proud of you , she insisted I keep her updated on your progress with school! - Please visit her in heaven for me? Bring her shells, pretty leaves and play cards with her? You will be dearly missed beautiful 'Mariposa'! forever in peace, Ms. Johnson "

"We will all sure miss your beautiful smile, your infectious laugh and your true love for your family Tana. It is true you were their rock! They could count on you to help them out in any kind of bind! My first memory of hanging with you was when we all rode together for homecoming. Phil had this awesome new camaro but wasn't even old enough to drive it so Berge had too!! Oh yeah and my night didn't end so well with Berge asking me if I could find my own ride home....we still laugh about that today don't we Colin?? Haha! I remember how beautiful your long hair was curled so beautiful on Nelda's wedding day, you just looked stunning! Your family has always been one that I can always count on whether it's help with the kids, hanging out on a Saturday night or just saying a quick hello at a game. We will sure miss you and please say hello to all our friends up there in heaven cause I sure miss them too!!"
