"Arriving permanently in this community in late 2008, we are short-term acquaintances compared to others posted here. We respected Mr. Lund for his oft-expressed views in the local paper, and we are the happy occupants of his former residence at 5th and Pine. Our deep condolences to Mrs. Lund and the family. A true patriot is at rest."

"I grew up with Dick and graduated with him in 1952 from Antigo High. We both had the last name Lund but were not really related. We did a lot of things together with a couple of other guys who also lived on the northside of Antigo. I have fond memory of those days. My thoughts are with his family as I too have lost a spouse and family members recently."

"First, I want to offer my condolences at your loss. I graduated fromWhite Lake High school in 1954 and I had had a teacher, Richard (Dick) Lund whom I loved and respected. I lost contact after that and often thought of him and wondered what life had been for him. Reading the obit, it does not sound like the Richard I knew. Do you know of another Richard Lund? If so would you contact me at: janewahl@mail.rhsj.org. Thank you. May your faith bring you some consolation at this time of sorrow and pain."
