Douglas L Finn
October 27, 1948 - January 2, 2013

Douglas Leonard Finn Sr., (Flag Emblem) of Antigo, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at his home. He was 64 years old. He was born on October 27, 1948 in Waukesha, a son of William and Phyllis (Dunn) Finn.

He served in the United States Army from January 29, 1968 until January 21, 1970.

Mr. Finn worked at the Waukesha Foundry for about 4 years. He also worked at Fortems Bar in Waukesha as a bartender and custodian. He moved to Wausau in 2006 and then to Antigo in 2009.

He enjoyed watching football, especially the Green Bay Packers, and western movies.

Survivors include a son, Douglas L. (Morgan Wegner) Finn Jr. of Minoqua; two daughters, Sherry Warner of Green Bush and Maggie Lou (Jim Gowin) Finn of Grandview, TX; a granddaughter, Deanna Finn; six great grandchildren; three sisters, Peggie (Jerry) Thomas of Neshkoro, Kathy Jo Anivizno of Waukesha and Sharon (Glenn Schultz) Paul of Antigo; two brothers, William (Linda) Finn Jr. of Waukesha and Daniel (Linda) Finn of Florence, KY; two step-brothers, John (Gail) Duernberger of Waukesha and Robert Byle of Waupaca; two step-sisters, Debbie (Jim) Duernberger of Iola and Linda Parker of Waupaca; and a nephew, Patrick (Shelly) Paul of Florence, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 7 at 1:00 PM in the chapel at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha. Burial with military honors will take place at the cemetery immediately following the service. Visitation will be Monday in the cemetery chapel from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.
Bradley Funeral Home in Antigo is assisting the family with arrangements.
