Larry Christianson, 76, passed away January 1, 2013 at the Fort Dodge Villa Care Center.
A memorial service will be held at St. Olaf Lutheran Church XXXX
Larry Gene Christianson was born in Fort Dodge on May 13, 1936 to Esther and Lewis Christianson. He was a lifelong member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church and a graduate of Fort Dodge High School. Larry was in the United States Air Force and spent most of his four years at RAF Bentwaters in Suffolk, England. When he returned to the U.S., he attended Wichita State University in Kansas as well as Dana College in Blair, Nebraska. He also attended Iowa Central Community College with a focus on drafting. Larry was a CB/HAM radio enthusiast and an avid reader. He enjoyed bird watching, and anything to do with trains and aerospace. He was a very social individual and made friends easily wherever he went.
Larry is survived by his daughters, Judy Worrall and Heather Moser, and granddaughter, Hilary Moser all of Kansas City, as well as several nieces and nephews, including Cathy Sundeen and Roger Bell both of Fort Dodge, and many great-nieces and nephews
