He has his father's voice and way of talking and even walking.... and he is just as bossy !!!!! He is very much appreciated and loved by all around here. THANK YOU EARL FOR GIVEN US MIKE. "

"Mrs. Weaver and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I grew up watching Earl and the O's. My first memory of Earl is witnessing one of his disagreements with the umpires. My first impression of Earl was his throwing his hat on backwards and kicking dirt all over home plate. As a pre-teen girl, I didn't know what to think about what I was witnessing. My Dad told me it wasn't the first time he's done that. As time went by I got to witness more of those kind of scenarios and realized he was "only doing his job" and I learned to respect him for not only doing his job, but defending his O's. The memories of Earl over the years have always lived on in my heart, and I always wished he would go back into managing after he had retired. There will only be one Earl Weaver and your family is very fortunate to have loved him and to have known him. Thank you for sharing him with Baltimore of these years. I will never forget the Earl of Baltimore. God Bless all of you during this very sad and difficult time. My heart breaks for you. RIP Earl! Love, Cyndi Drye Perry Hall, Md."
