"Dear Aunt Mary, I was very sorry to learn about Uncle Bob's passing. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Carl Lawhead (clawhead2@cox.net)"
Robert Marlowe Crow was born January 1, 1925, the son of Eugene and Bess (Hall) Crow in Norwalk, Iowa. The family moved to West Des Moines where Robert was a graduate of Valley High School. Following his education, he enlisted in the United States Army, serving during WWII.

During the time they ran the campgrounds, Bob and Mary owned and operated an upholstery and decorating business. Fifteen years ago, Bob and Mary retired. They enjoyed camping and wintering in Mesa, AZ. During retirement years, they spent their summers on Big Spirit near Spirit Lake or at the family home in West Des Moines.

"Dear family, Uncle Bob's passing feels like another passing of the Lawhead family. So many years of being together leaves an empty feeling when one so dear leaves us. Even though we do not have the pleasure of annual family reunions like we did once upon a time the memories are vivid and wonderful. Uncle Bob always played us kids and was so much fun to be with. Aunt Mary always treated me so kindly it felt like my Mom. Thank you Uncle Bob and Aunt Mary for the love you showered on us. Bob you will be deeply missed but your spirit is vibrant in my memory. Much love to all, Bobbie Jean."
"I forgot to enter my email should anyone wish to reach me. Peace be with you,Bobbie Jean."
"Dear Aunt Mary, It is with deepest sympathy that I send this e-mail. You and Uncle Bob have always been two of my very favorite people. After so many years together even though we both know our husbands are in Heaven, it's lonely. Here comes a lot of love to you.... Lewene"
