Gladys D Daniels

Gladys D. "Cis" Daniels, 74, of Carthage, Illinois, died early Monday, February 18, 2013 at Blessing Hospital, Quincy, Illinois. She was born on December 11, 1938, in Keokuk, Iowa, a daughter to Gladys Andrews Malloy. She married Arthur Wayne Daniels on July 6, 1957. He preceded her in death on July 18, 1975. Cis lived most of her life in the Carthage and Keokuk Area. She collected music boxes, enjoyed craft work and working with all types of puzzles. She enjoyed watching NASCAR Racing and enjoyed spending time with her family and her companion, her dog, Ebon. She is survived by five children, Michael and his wife Victoria Daniels of Grand Island, NE, Gregg Daniels of Peoria, IL, Jack Daniels of Georgetown, IL, Jeffrey and his wife Peggy of Danville, IA and Lori Anne Rea and her husband Jimmy of Dallas City, IL; fourteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; one sister, Thelma "Cricket" Kussman of Cozad, NE; a special cousin, Jack Curfman of Carthage, IL and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Tara Lynn Daniels; two brothers and one sister. 3 at DeJong-Greaves Celebration of Life Center at 917 Blondeau Street, Keokuk, with Brother Bill Hauser officiating. Burial will be at Sandusky Cemetery near Keokuk, Iowa. Visitation will be after 3:00 pm Thursday, February 21, 2013 at DeJong-Greaves Celebration of Life Centers on Blondeau Street with family and friends gathering from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A memorial has been established.
