d Patty Larsen. Bonnie L. Brayton was born February 3, 1939, in Algona. As a young child she and her family moved to Phillips, WI; where they lived from 1941 to 1950. Then the family moved to Fort Dodge. Bonnie was a 1956 graduate of Fort Dodge Senior High School. After receiving her two-year degree in teaching she began teaching grade school in Suthernland and later in Algona. She later attended and graduated from Iowa State University. On December 27, 1961, Bonnie was united in marriage to Donald S. Halligan. The couple established their home in Fort Dodge. Bonnie taught for over 28 years in the Fort Dodge Community Schools including, Cooper, Arey, and Feelhaver. She enjoyed playing cards and games with her family and friends. Bonnie loved going to her grandchildren's sporting events. She was huge Dodger and Cyclone fan, and her grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
