Michael O'Keefe

The world became a poorer place Wednesday, April 15, 2009, when Mike died in San Diego, California, of complications of lung cancer at the age of 65. A warm-hearted family man, accountant, golfer, lover of fun, sports and music. Mike was the deeply loved husband of Barbara (nee Campion) and dear father of Jason (Jennifer) of Salt Lake City, Lindsay (Shaun) Lambert of Springfield, Illinois, and Curran (Katie) of Chicago. He is also survived by his mother, Donna Fae O'Keefe of Baraboo, Wisconsin; sisters Patricia O'Keefe of New York City, Jolene (Bob) Stedman of Corona del Mar, California; Suellen Johnson of Eagle, Wisconsin, and Mary Lou (Ned) Lewandowski of Atlanta, Georgia and brothers Bob (Chris) and Jim of Milwaukee, Tim of Baraboo, and Jack (Cindy) of Madison, Wisconsin. Mike was the doting grandfather of McKenna, Lily and Ainsley Lambert and Ben Hines. Further survived by brother-in-law R. Richmond (Peggy) Campion of Stuart, Florida, other relatives and friends.
