Steven G. Bauer

Passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at the age of 49, surrounded by his family, after a 4-1/2 year battle with cancer. Loving husband and best friend of Margaret (nee Groshek), for over 26 years. Proud father of Adam (Shandra), Jacob (Lauren Stroman) and Tyler Bauer. Dear son of Aileen (the late Jerry) Bauer. Cherished son-in-law of Joseph and Susan Groshek. Brother of Audrey (Robert) Tercha, Carol (Richard) Tomasello, David (Debbie), Joyce (James) Boncher, Dennis (Pam), Janice (Jeff)Chase, Nancy Feest, Donna (Rick) Hurzeler, Dorothy, Lisa (Randy) Abberderis and Scott (Dawn) Bauer. Brother-in-law of Joe Groshek, Michele Ellingson and Rick Groshek. Also loved by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Steve was a 15 year veteran of the West Allis Police Dept.
