Jeffrey John Schmidt

Age 47. He lived courageously with ALS for three years. Jeff died Wednesday, June 20, 2012. Beloved son of Dorothy Schmidt and Gilbert (Mary) Schmidt. Loving brother of Amy (Nick) Pidgeon, of Waldorf, MD. Dear uncle of Stefanie Pidgeon. Also survived by other relatives, friends, his cat Ozzie, and his Alexian Village family.Visitation at ALEXIAN VILLAGE " CHAPEL OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, 9301 North 76th Street, on Tuesday, June 26, from 10:00-11:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.Jeff graduated Dominican High School and served 8 years in the US Navy, aboard the USS Tripoli and in Desert Storm.Our thanks to the ALS Clinic at Froedtert Hospital and everyone on 9C at Zablocki VA Medical Center.
