Dolores Davis Hines HICKORY, North Carolina -- Dolores Davis Hines, 83, of Hickory, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2013, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Bass-Smith Funeral Home & Crematory in Hickory is serving the family. Dolores was born on June 14, 1929, in Muscatine, the daughter of the late Ted and Evelyn Davis. She was a 1947 graduate of Muscatine High School. She married Norris Hines, also of Muscatine in 1951. She was a member of Corinth Reformed United Church of Christ in Hickory. Survivors include her husband, Norris Hines of Hickory; a daughter, Sherri Hawkins and husband, Matt; two sons, Jeff Hines and wife, Jenny, and Scott Hines and wife, Pat; grandchildren, CJ Hines and wife, Jenny, Tucker Hines and wife, Lauren, Scotti Hines, Taylor Hines, Taylor Fisher and Nick Caputo and Arlie Sogard and husband, Alex; great-grandchildren, Ellie Maggie Hadley and Hunter Hines; two brothers, Jim Davis and wife, Jennifer, of Galveston, Texas, and Ted Davis and wife, Jane, of Canton, Michigan; and a sister-in-law, Mickey Davis of Bettendorf.[more]
