Kristie Ann Croatt was born on September 20, 1969, in Madison, Minnesota to John and Becky (Full) Croatt. She lived at home with her family in Storden, Minnesota until she was 8 years old. She moved to the Home for Creative Living in September of 1977. Kristie graduated from Windom Area High School in 1991and began working at the Cottonwood County DAC on June 10, 1991where she enjoyed going for many years spending time with her co-workers and staff doing small tasks. Kristie enjoyed swimming, spending time on the patio in the swing, listening to Polka music or anything with a beat, going to concerts, parades, boat rides, and out to eat. She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews and Christmas with her family. Kristie spent a lot of time over the years with her friend, Diane. When Kristie and Diane did something it was an event. Together they would plan where to eat and what to see and do. They spent a lot of time together going on vacations. someone and laugh and clap. The last several months of her life she had battled respiratory issues and spent a lot of time in the hospital, both in Sioux Falls and Windom. She finally lost the battle as she went peacefully with her mother and sister by her side on March 29, 2013 at the Windom Area Hospital at the age of 43. She is survived by her parents, John Croatt and his wife Gale, of Storden and Becky Full of Storden; three sisters, Michelle Robish of Redwood Falls; Jennifer Nickel of Jeffers; and Wendy Croatt of St. Peter; grandparents, Bertie Full of Canby; and Ed and Mardelle Croatt of Madison; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her Grandpa Ray Full and special friend, Diane Johnson. Blessed be the memory of Kristie Ann Croatt.
