Fredric Ralph Lee 73 of Otho passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Otho United Methodist Church with Rev. Dennis Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Cemetery, Lehigh with Military Rites presented by the VFW Post 1856. A visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Friday at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. Fred is survived by his wife, Karen; daughters, Margaret (Roy) Ronnfeldt and Danielle Lee; two grandchildren, Hilary and Noah F. Ronnfeldt all of Williams; four step-children, James D. Hammen II (Laurie) of Arkport, NY; Kimberly R. El Zein of Marion; Janice K. Nimrod (Richard) of Virginia Beach, VA; Kyle M. mecheck; brother-in-laws, Dale Cusey, Lyle Nemechek, and George Wells and sister-in-law, Nina Lee. Fredric R. Lee was born April 8, 1939 in Lehigh, son of. He attended Lehigh Public School. He worked at Lehigh Sewer Pipe and Tile Co. from 1955 to 1956. He then enlisted in the United States Army. Serving in France from 1957 until his honorable discharge in 1959. Upon return he went back to work at the Lehigh tile plant. On October 22, 1960 he was united in marriage to Karen Kay Frayne. They lived in Lehigh and the surrounding areas. In 1967 the couple moved to Williamsburg, where he worked at Amana Refrigeration until he retired. Karen passed away January 7, 1999 due to cancer. He then moved to Williams, Iowa to be closer to his daughters. On February 23, 2001 Fred was united in marriage to Karen Kay Hammen and moved to Otho. The "Karens" were good friends and went to school together. Fred was a member of the Otho United Methodist Church. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
