Dorothy was a member of the Maquoketa Country Club and the Maquoketa American Legion Post #75. She had been baptized and confirmed at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Maquoketa. Dorothy was an avid golfer and had been a past champion at the Maquoketa Country Club. Those left to honor Dorothy's memory include her husband, Maurice Morris of Maquoketa, IA; children, Leon Morris of Flower Mound, TX, and Cheryl Morris of Amado, TX; 1 grandson, David Morris; and a sister, Mavis (Harold) Bechel of Maquoketa, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 3 sisters, Alverda Usher, Ernestine Bartels and Marianne Wendel.
