Stephen "Steve" Lewis Casto, 73, of Miami Gardens, Florida passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, April 19, 2013 surrounded by his family.
He was born in Charleston, West Virginia on December 2, 1939, son of Raymond Keith and Phyllis Jean (White) Casto. Raised and educated in Charleston, Steve moved to Miami in his early twenties.
Steve was a carpenter by trade and worked for many area sub-contractors and was a member of the Carpenter's Union #405 in Miami. In his spare time, Steve enjoyed working on old cars and was a Miami Dolphin fan.
Survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Nadina (Valuja) Casto, loving son, Stehen L. Casto Jr. and his wife Julie Casto. Also survived by his brother, Michael L. Casto and his wife Donna J. Casto.
The family will greet friends on Tuesday, April 23rd from 5:00 ~ 7:00 at Fred Hunter's Hollywood Memorial Garden Home, 6301 Taft Street in Hollywood. A Memorial Service and Celebration of Steve's Life will begin at the funeral home at 6:00 P.M. Interment will be private.
