Susan Jean Pundt, age 61 of Lindstrom, was born September 2, 1951, in Detroit Lakes, MN, to Junior and Donna Reineccius. She was the second oldest of twelve children. She started school at Washington Elementary in Detroit Lakes before the family moved to St. Paul, Hutchinson, and Wadena. She met her husband of 41 years as a senior at Wadena High School. Sue attended Wadena Technical College and studied accounting while Roger served in the Marine Corps. They dated for three years before getting married on February 12, 1972. They were blessed with two daughters during their marriage: Stephanie on January 26, 1976, and Jennifer on March 5, 1982. Sue worked at the Chisago County Press for nearly 20 years, and in her free time, she enjoyed reading, scrapbooking, and flower gardening. Her greatest accomplishments were becoming a wife, mother, and grandmother. She especially loved all of the time she was able to spend with her two grandchildren, Cooper and Libby. Sue died on May 10, 2013 at her home. She is preceded in death by her infant sister, Cindy Reineccius; her brother Tim Reineccius; and her father-in-law Marvin Pundt. A Celebration of Sue's Life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 18th at Roberts Family Funeral Home, 555 Centennial Drive SW, Forest Lake, with a gathering of family and friends beginning at 1:00 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to your favorite charity in honor of Sue.
