atts of Burlington; four brothers, William Staats Jr. of Oakville, Randy (Carol) Thompkin of Grandview; Lonnie (Suzanne) Staats of Mount Pleasant and Barry (Julie) Staats of Sperry; three sisters, Deb (Lonnie) Scheitlin of Burlington, Pam (William) Jones of Wadley, Alabama and Brenda (Rob Schadt) Staats of Salem; two step brothers, Kenneth (Shelley) Agnew of Mediapolis and Josh (Megan) Agnew of New London; one step sister, Kim (Jeff) Nehring of New London; 25 nieces and nephews and 25 great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. Friends may call from noon until 7 p.m. Thursday, June 13th, at Lunning Chapel where the family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. The funeral service for Mr. Staats will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 14th, at Lunning Chapel with Pastor Dan Baker officiating. A memorial has been established. According to Mr. Staats wishes, cremation will be accorded following the funeral service.
