Ms. Tina Marie Ward, 48, of rural Danville died at 9:45 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Born, January 2, 1965 in Burlington, she was the daughter of Raymond Ward and Mary Lou Peterson of Burlington. Ms. Ward was a certified internet sales manager for West Burlington Honda and had previous worked as internet sales manager for Deery Brothers Chevrolet in Des Moines. Ms. Ward volunteered for the Red Cross Blood Drive, Feed the Hungry and Toys for Tots. She enjoyed keeping in touch with her Facebook friends and family, her pet dog "Angel" and dressing her up in cute doggie outfits and any outdoor activity involving her boyfriend John Underwood. The joy of her life was her grandson, Kaidon Jones. Mediapolis; 11 half-brothers, Robert (Dana) Ward and Joey Biggers both of Henderson, Kentucky, Brad (Wendy) Scott and Chad (Melisa) Scott both of Burlington, Roger Scott of Fairfield, David (Linda) Scott of Hannibal, Missouri, Richard (Jennifer) Schmidt and Robert Schmidt both of Burlington, Carl Peterson of Mt. Pleasant, Chris Cline of Burlington and Michael Ward of Mediapolis, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call from noon until 8 p.m. Thursday, June 20th, at Lunning Chapel where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. The funeral service for Ms. Ward will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 21st, at Lunning Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Andersen of Peace Lutheran Church at Prairie Grove officiating. Interment will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for the Kaidon Mitchell Jones Trust Fund at Casebine Credit Union.
