William Harry Crawford

William H. "Bill" Crawford, 63, of Fort Dodge, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013 at his home. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday July 3, 2013 in the chapel of the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home and 10:30 AM at Corpus Christi Church with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating at the Mass and Christian Burial. A private burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in St. Joseph, Iowa. The visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a vigil at 7:30 PM. Bill is survived by his wife, Millie; sons, Scott (Erica) Crawford of Des Moines, IA and Mark (Jessi) Crawford of Charles City, IA; daughters, Wendy (Ted) Mulert of Denver, IA, Andrea (Jeff) Flannery of Denver, CO; mother, Mary Crawford of Rockford, IL; grandchildren, Joe, Tommy, Jack, Anna, Emily, Matthew Mulert, Jacob, Zachary, and Sean Flannery, Martin Shugar, Terry, Keagen, Cadyn, and Jemma Crawford; brothers, Richard of Rockford, IL and James (Mary) Crawford of Downers Grove, IL; Bill is preceded by his father, William Crawford. Stillman Valley High School in 1969 and moved to Des Moines, IA, that same year. On May 19, 1973, he was united in marriage to Millie Thul in St. Joseph. The family moved to Fort Dodge in 1979 where he was employed at the Fort Dodge Creamery, Trinity Regional Medical Center, and St. Edmond High School, and currently working as a school bus driver for the Fort Dodge Public School System. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Church and St. Edmond's Booster Club. He was the leader for Youth Kicks where he led nine trips to Kentucky for Youth Kicks Service Trips. While his children were in school, he coached football, basketball, volleyball, and he drove the bus for many St. Ed's activities. His hobbies included camping, traveling, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
